acne treatment recommended by dermatologists
Dermatological treatments and medication for acne?
Hey guys, I've never gone to see a dermatologist, but I'm considering. I use Proactiv and although it works for me, I still get occasional break I am looking to get rid of! I wonder some things: 1) prescribed medications for acne by my physician interfere with Alesse (pill for birth control)? I'll talk to her about this, but the office is closed until Monday and I am looking for information until then. 2) Is dermatologic care including in Ontario (Canada), health care plan? 3) Is there anyone here recommend any treatment performed by dermatologists who improved her skin? Thanks for all the answers, again, will be speaking with my doctor and get a referral, etc, just like me Stories of the first experiment.
Let me say first that I have tried EVERYTHING out there. Proactiv, grounds, Acnefree, Differin, sulfacetamide sodium, etc prescription, nonprescription, natural, whatever. I've tried. I've never had severe acne, but very consistent mild to moderate acne. I was only willing to accept the fact that you always have. I met acne.org a while ago and had been using the forums to get feedback on different products. Dan (the founder the website) had its own system, but never tried because I had used before benzoyl peroxide, without success. At the end of my wits, I decided prove his regime. It worked! No joke! I have always been clear for months! It is time consuming and sometimes a pain, but it works. I definitely recommend that given a chance. You have to follow their instructions carefully and give it time, but well worth it. I was first drawn to him because while you can buy products on the website of Dan, you do not have to. All products can be found in a drug store. I usually buy on the website just because you can buy bulk and is more convenient, but definitely not necessary. He has videos and FAQ recommend that you do before and during the times they are using.
